Meeting with the Special Rapporteur on Indigenous Peoples. UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues 19th session

UNPFIIThe Special rapporteur, Ms Victoria Tauli-Corpuz, will hold individual meetings with representatives of indigenous peoples and organizations during the 19th session of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues at UN Headquarters in New York.
The meetings will be held between 9am and 1pm on Wednesday 15th April.

Meetings may be requested regarding matters that fall within the Special Rapporteur’s mandate, including allegations of human rights violations.

How to request a meeting ?

Write an email to indicating the names of the persons attending, and a written note on the issues to be presented to the Special Rapporteur.
The tile of the email should start with ” UNPFII Meeting request ” + name of your organisation or community.
Priority will be given to requests sent before 27th March 2020.

If the meeting is granted, you will receive a confirmation by email with time and location for the meeting. Please note that to meet with the Special Rapporteur during the Permanent Forum, you must have also pre-registered for the Permanent Forum session.
